Cello Yoshitaka

Konnichiwa! My name is Marcello Yoshitaka and I love languages. I believe that learning a foreign language can make our lives better; I love creating my own teaching materials using a tons of visuals as I'm a visual learner myself. Hello everyone! Marcelo is half Brazilian and half Japanese and graduated from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies with an English TEFL. I became a teacher because I truly believe that learning a foreign language will enrich my life. I like teaching using teaching materials that use a lot of photos and images. If you are interested in English, please try my lesson style. I have a Japanese English Teachers license to teach in Japan and worked in a Private high school in Kyoto after graduating. I've also worked in some famous Japanese English Language Schools like AEON. After moving out of Japan I've started working on an international cruise line Royal Caribbean International where I manage the Youth Facilities onboard using mainly English but sometimes Japanese and Spanish depending on the itinerary. This job has taught me the importance of communicating with people with different accents and different background. In Japan I took EIKEN and TOEIC tests constantly so I'm able to help students to prepare for these tests. After obtaining a teacher's license, I was an English teacher at a high school in Kyoto. I also have experience working at Eikaiwa English School Aeon and GABA. I have passed Eiken Level 1, so I can also teach students who are preparing for the Eiken and TOEIC exams. I'm a visual learner myself so I like to create material that has pictures/images allowing the students to rely less on translation and learn in a more natural way (I used to work for Rosetta Stone) I like making teaching materials with lots of pictures and images, and I like using them to teach.
