Hello, my name is Louise and I am from South Africa. I am a certified TEFL tutor , a writer and self publisher. In my class you can expect to learn in a fun and social environment. I am passionate about teaching English as a second language and learning about cultures. My interest are reading, writing, listening to music and making art work. I am an experienced English tutor and have tutored both children and adults. Direct Method- I use this approach to enable the students to learn English naturally and instinctively. This method is done to help the students in English (no translation allowed) I focused on speaking, rather than grammar. Communicative language- This method teaching emphasizes the student's ability to communicate in real-life context. As results the students learn to make request accepts offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences. Focuses on teaching language through real -world assignments and problem -solving I'm concerned with grammar accuracy. Total physical response (TPR) - With this teaching method students react to the teacher miming, gesturing or acting out the language. I also bring songs and games to the classroom.
