I am a passionate, professional and experienced ESL teacher. I am British but currently live in Vietnam. I am married with two sons and I love to teach, travel, learn about different cultures and spend quality time with my family. I have been teaching ESL for over 15 years, both in the UK and overseas. I have an MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from the University of Portsmouth and am an experienced and passionate educator. This is to make sure the course is tailored to you, to your needs and to your requirements. For example, if you sign up for an IELTS course I will ensure we cover all four areas of the exam, speaking, listening, reading and writing if that is what you want. All courses will be tailored to your level and needs. I also run general English courses, aimed at progressing you from A1 level to C1 level (CEFR)and anywhere in between. I like to use a wide variety of different activities and make use of real world resources to make the learning experience as close as possible to real life. Music, videos, and interactive worksheets all feature in my lessons. I will monitor your work as you do it, to make sure you get immediate feedback and explanations as required. I think learning a language should be fun educational and above all, structured, well planned and easy to follow.
