Hello everyone! I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I have been teaching for more than 8 years. I enjoy going for long walks and listening to music. I enjoy cooking, too. I am a frequent movie goer and enjoy all genres. In addition, i enjoy a good book which helps me to relax at the end of a long day. I have taught in South Korea for over 8 years. I have taught every level and age group: kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school students and even adults and they all ranged from beginner to advanced levels. Students can expect a supportive and encouraging learning environment. My classes will promote critical thinking and shall foster a growth mindset. In addition, For adults the focus will be around English for specific purpose and for younger learners, more use of TPR can be expected (although this will be made use of at all levels). My classes will focus on the Direct Method as it is speaking focused and student centered. Also, I will switch to Communicative Language Teaching to enable students to speak in real-life situations.
