Greetings! My name is KATE and I'm excited to share a bit about myself with you.
Originally from Hong Kong, Chinese is my mother tongue, allowing me to have a deep understanding and appreciation for the language and its nuances. I pursued my passion for Chinese language and culture by graduating from Hong Kong Baptist University, where I majored in Chinese Journalism. This educational background has not only equipped me with strong writing skills in Chinese but also enriched my understanding of the language's intricacies.
With a genuine love for teaching and sharing knowledge, I have accumulated four years of experience as a Chinese language tutor. Throughout my teaching journey, I've had the pleasure of working with students at various proficiency levels, from beginners taking their first steps in learning Chinese to advanced learners striving for fluency.
Beyond teaching, I am deeply committed to continuous personal and professional growth, constantly seeking new opportunities to expand my knowledge and refine my teaching techniques. My goal is to inspire and empower my students to achieve their language learning goals while fostering a genuine appreciation for the richness of the Chinese language and culture.
I am thrilled at the prospect of working with you and helping you embark on a rewarding journey of mastering the Chinese language. Together, let's unlock the endless possibilities that await through language learning!
My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, ask questions, and make mistakes as part of the learning process. I believe in fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere that nurtures confidence and motivation in my students.
