Jose Cruz Rivera

Hola! My name is Jose Cruz Rivera and I am a current senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a bachelors of science in Applied Spanish for the professions and teaching. I am very passionate advocate for the teaching a second language to all students, no matter the age. I am 21 years old and when I am not doing anything, I like to go out with friends and learn about technology. I have been a substitute teacher at my local school district for 2 years teaching all grade levels. I have also had some teaching practicums with Spanish and taught K-12 during my practicum experiences. Students should expect an engaging and fun lesson. I want my students to be able to acquire the language in a fun and encouraging setting. During my sessions, you will find some days we can do virtual games and some days could be just answering questions or teaching a subject. Overall, I want my students to feel welcomed and be exited about learning or resuming learning a new language.
