Hello, dear learners! I am Irysh. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. Back then I learned Spanish and French so as an ESL teacher I know what it feels like to learn, acquire, and the difficulties of learning another language. I grew fond of teaching online because of the things that I learned from my students about their culture and traditions. When I'm not teaching, I am reading, swimming, and doing stuff that interests me. I recently started learning to play the piano and it's what I mostly spend my free time on. I'm a foodie and because of that I also love to cook. I have been teaching ESL since 2013. I am TESOL certified and registered with the American Licensing Authority for International English Teaching. I have taught kids, young adults, and professional learners from China, South Korea, and Japan both online and offline setups. Students can expect an interactive and lively class with me. I like making rapport with my learners to help them feel at ease and confident speaking and engaging in class discussions using the English language. My niche is teaching phonics reading to young learners, and the learn-to-read program assures students can read basic English words in 2 to 4 weeks. I like teaching starter-level young children and adults alike. After all, a good foundation in English is essential to becoming a fluent user and speaker of the target language. I also teach daily conversations to young adults and adult learners. Pronunciation and grammar corrections are given during the wrap-up part of the discussion to provide explanations and if learners have any questions regarding their errors.
