Hey! My name is Irina, I was born and raised in Lithuania, but for more than thirty years I have been living and working in Russia, in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg. I am a bibliographer by education, but I had a chance to work in the field of tourism, in the bookselling business, at school. I have two large dogs and three adult children. Significant cultural and political events often take place in my city, so it will not be difficult for us to find a topic for speaking practice. Hi! I am Irina. Thank you for researching my page. Russian is my native language, all the members of my family were always speaking Russian despite the fact I was born in Lithuania (Unfortunately Lithuanian for me is a foreign language). I live and work in Russia, Saint-Petersburg but also I used to live in Siberia. I am certain we will find the topics for some conversational practice easily because I have a wide range of interests and I’m a good listener and have lots of questions which help you overcome the language barrier. I have been working as a tutor for more than five years and love this activity very much. If you have just started to learn Russian I gess you will need some help and explanations in your native language or language you know bet I like to make lessons for each student individually, because collecting and classifying information is my special interest. In the lessons I use audio, video and reading files, with which we practice writing, reading, pronunciation and speaking. For beginners I offer some study books and training internet resources. I am very patient and like to answer the questions.
