My name is Houman Shariati, and at 30 years old, I find myself at a fascinating intersection of technology, language, and fitness. Born and living in the culturally rich country of Iran, I have always been drawn to the complexities of communication and the precision of technology. When I'm not working, you can find me cheering on my favorite soccer teams, an enthusiasm that matches my dedication to bodybuilding. I believe in living a balanced life, and these hobbies provide me with a sense of community and personal well-being. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I've had the privilege of exploring the historic landscapes of Turkey and the picturesque vistas of Georgia. These journeys have not only broadened my horizons but also enriched my understanding of the world. As I continue to navigate through life, I am driven by a desire to learn, grow, and contribute positively to the world around me. I embarked on my educational journey in IT engineering from 2013 to 2017, which sharpened my analytical skills and introduced me to the world of algorithms and systems. My passion for connecting with people and exploring new cultures led me to pursue a TEFL certification starting in 2020, and I am currently immersed in the intricacies of teaching English as a foreign language. Professionally, I have been part of an innovative start-up called Wernoca since 2021. At Wernoca, we break down language barriers by teaching English and Persian to learners across the globe. It's a role that not only challenges me but also allows me to make a meaningful impact on others' lives. This course is designed for beginner to advanced learners who want to take their English to the next level. You will have access to engaging and interactive lessons, quizzes, polls, infographics, and more. You will also have the opportunity to practice your speaking skills with me and other students in live sessions. One of the special teaching methods that I use in this course is blended learning. This means that you will learn English through a combination of online and offline activities. You will not only watch videos and do exercises online, but also read books, listen to podcasts, write essays, and do projects offline. This will help you develop a well-rounded and balanced English proficiency.
