My name is Georges Khoury. I’m an English Language Instructor. I’m from Lebanon. After joining the military, I was discovered as being an excellent English speaker and was sent overseas to The United States of America. There, I majored in English Language Teaching and graduated as an English Language Instructor from The Defense Language Institute English Language Center (D.L.I.E.L.C.) in San Antonio, Texas. During my time at The D.L.I.E.L.C. , I had the pleasure of interacting with and getting to know many well–trained and extremely experienced American teachers who added quite a lot to my knowledge of the English language. I’ll always be forever grateful to those magnificent tutors who helped me become very proficient at both developing my English language skills and teaching English as a foreign language. I’m currently an English Language Instructor in the military and have been teaching English as a foreign language for the past 13 years. I am a D.L.I.E.L.C. certified English Language Instructor. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for the past 13 years at the Lebanese Armed Forces Military Academy (LAF Military Academy) to military personnel of all ages and different ranks. I’m really looking forward to teaching you the English language and helping you master and hone your English language skills. I constantly try to look for any deficiencies a student might have at any of the four basic language skills (Listening – Writing – Reading – Speaking) and work on improving those, not yet mastered, skills. I can help you strengthen your English grammar and build up your vocabulary. There will be so much to do and great things to learn. In my humble opinion, taking one step at a time has always been a guaranteed and definite approach into learning something new. So, step by step, you and I can work together into achieving what you want and have fun learning English. Furthermore, if you want to or about to take a TOEFL or an IELTS test and are not fully prepared, don’t you worry. I can help you with that, too. I can teach you how to ace those tests in addition to providing you with all the materials necessary for you to pass those tests with flying colors.
