Hi, my name is Favour and I am a native English speaker from Nigeria. It is nice to meet you, and thank you for checking my profile. I am a certified TEFL teacher, with 2 years of experience in teaching English. I am very patient and I am a good active listener. I studied Microbiology in the University, and I have a background in Data Analytics. I love teaching because It places me in a position where I am able to share knowledge, and make an impact in students lives. It also gives me great pleasure to help students achieve great results, and meet their goals. Asides teaching, I love watching movies, hanging out with my friends, and reading a book. I have taught adults online on Preply, and Forvo Academy. I have also taught children and Young learners both online on Edukoya, and offline. I got my TEFL certifications from Arizona State University, and from TEFL Professional Development Institute. My method of teaching is the student-centered method, where I focus on my students needs. I usually conduct a needs analysis on each of my student to determine their needs and goals for learning English. After finding out my student's needs, I will be drafting out a lesson plan with clear and measurable objectives that aims at meeting those learning needs. I will also use learning materials that best suits those needs. I am experienced in teaching English pronunciations, and improving writing and speaking skills. I specialize in teaching English for beginners, English for work, and Conversational English to students at all levels. My classes are usually fun, engaging and interactive.
