Kon-nichiwa! Thank you for picking up my page. I am a native Japanese speaker living in the UK for about twenty years. I am a friendly, enthusiastic and cheerful teacher. I teach beginners to lower intermediate and also casual learners. For beginners and lower intermediate learners, we will study basic grammar using a textbook and slides. Then we will practice conversation little by little at your own pace. If you want to begin learning or improving your Japanese language or have struggled to study Japanese by yourself, please try me. I will try my best to help you to achieve your goals. I have been living in the Midlands for about twenty years. I have a dog named Boo. She always makes me happy and laugh. I have many hobbies which include sewing for my daughter’s ballet costume and dog’s jumper etc. And I baked a lot of cupcakes for sale at the town market. And I baked sourdough breads twice a week until I found my husband has gluten allergies. Also I am keen on health and fitness. I have been teaching Japanese to some friends using the textbook "GENKI" for a few years. I have a certificate "The 420 hours Advanced Japanese Teacher Training Course" which was conducted by The World Japanese Language Centre. The main focus of my lesson is conversation practice and according to the student's goals. For example, if you want to learn Japanese for travel, I will create your learning plan including the vocabulary necessary for a variety of travel situations according to your needs. If you want to read the Manga comic book, I will teach you Manga frame by frame(coma) at your own pace. I will use slides and online comics or you-Tube to do this.
