Hello beautiful people, my name is Emilio, your Mexican trustworthy teacher ;) I´ve been working in education for more than 5 years and sharing knowledge is one of my passions. I also love to discover music, go out and walk around the city of Lisboa, and cook my beloved Mexican food. My experience as a teacher started when I was only 19 years old in Kenya. There I taught English and Life Skills for 1 year. In Mexico I was teaching English, Philosophy, Psychology, Ethics and Social Sciences for over 3 years. During those years I was also tutoring and counseling my students. Nowadays I decided to move to online teaching, I'm learning so much, enjoying it and I would gladly accompany you in your learning process. In terms of certification I have a certificate from the University of Guadalajara as a primary to high school teacher. I'm also certified as an educator in Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence and I have a bachelors degree in Psychology. Last and not least, I also have a master in Social & Cultural Psychology, which has help me add some cultural insights in my classes. My classes always have 4 components: new vocabulary, conversation exercises, culture and a little bit of necessary grammar. I also like to add memes, pop culture metaphors, music, videos, and of course: food; to make the classes more fun, interesting and diverse.
