Welcome! :) My name is Ella and I'm from London in the UK but I'm currently living in Vietnam. I have 2+ years of experience teaching English in Japan, Costa Rica and online. I became a teacher because I want to help people improve their future prospects by learning English. I have a Master's in Religion in Global Politics and a Bachelor's in Sociology. I have previously worked as a Qualitative Researcher for the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres, and as a Research Analyst for a consultancy company. I love travelling, running, and yoga and I'm interested in nutrition and human development. I also have a keen interest in religion and philosophy and hope to do a PhD in that subject area one day. I am Level 5 TEFL certified and have taught mainly adults from all over the world from beginner to advanced level. My lessons are completely tailored to meet your needs, but I usually prefer to focus on speaking practice through general conversation, discussions, and role plays. In my lessons, we usually choose a specific topic and focus on using vocabulary and phrases related to that topic.
