Hello there, 😁 My name is Donive and I come form South Africa. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a 120 hour TEFL certificate. My hobbies include eating out🍔, going out for a hike🏔️ and I'm into fitness too💪🏽. I have 3 years of online teaching experience where I taught both children and adults. I've also worked at a primary school. I've taught all ages and English levels and from individual to large groups of people. I specialize in conversational lessons, reading, writing and my absolute favorite grammar. Over the past 3 years I have helped so many students from all over the world achieve their goals and you can be one of them. I like to first discuss with the students about what their needs are and what they want to achieve during the trial lesson. Then, I discuss with them on how I can assist them going forward. My teaching style is to get the student involved in the lesson as much as possible which is very effective because it empowers and encourages the student to learn. I'm very patient with my students because I know how challenging it can be when learning something completely new and I encourage them to not be afraid to make mistakes because they are part of the learning process. In my lessons I make use of a variety of materials from articles, videos, pictures, realia and games especially for young learners. These are so effective because they provide the students with context which can help them in real life situations. learning does not stop in our sessions, I also provide my students with homework which is then discussed and corrected in our next session.
