Daphne Shilongo

Hi everyone! My name is Daphne Shilongo, a 26 year old from a beautiful country called Namibia. I hold a Bachelor degree in Dental surgery from the university of Havana, Cuba. I speak English, Spanish and Oshiwambo and I am fluent in all. I love traveling, meeting new people and learning about their cultures. I hold a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I have an experience in teaching my Cuban friends English while I was studying in Cuba. Learners should expect to learn English for communication purposes, grammar and pronunciation. I had to learn Spanish in order to do my degree,so I totally understand how it feels to learn a new language. From my experience from learning a new language, I came to understand that it is not difficult as long as you willing to learn from your mistakes . Therefore one should not be scared to express themselves. I would like to make it a safe space for my learners to express themselves and not be afraid to make mistakes. I am passionate about encouraging learners of all ages to reach their potential. I will be persistent but patient in helping you to achieve your English language goals.
