I'm from the state of Illinois, but I was born in Chile, which is where I learned English. I've also lived in Argentina, Scotland and England. I'm 35 years old, married, have one cat, a published fantasy author, and I play the piano. I love traveling, teaching, connecting with people, places and music. I love animals, too. I'm a certified English Teacher, of course, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education. I've been teaching English since the age of 15 and I hope to continue until I retire. I have been teaching English as a Second Language since I was 15 years old, which led me to choose this path in university, so it has been 20 years of helping others grow and learn the English language. I've taught online and in person, from Pre-K to senior citizens, in schools and for language institutes, for exams and for travel. Besides teaching English, I've also taught piano in person for a few years, I've written a fantasy book, and I've also taught conversational Spanish both in person and online.
