Reading books has always being a hobby; something I find uttermost satisfaction doing. My favorite literature still remains-Things Fall Apart by Achebe and Chimamanda’s Purple Hibiscus. Being a teacher with a strong background in a teaching English as a second language has made me to meet a lot of personalities from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I derive joy by merely speaking to new people either in a group class or a one on one lesson. I have been able to master the art of building quality relationships, meeting new people and retaining strong connections. My hobbies are baking and playing volleyball. During my 3 years of teaching, I have had the opportunity to work with students from various cultural, linguistic backgrounds and orientation. This experience has allowed me to adapt my teaching methods and pedagogy to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual. I have facilitated engaging and interactive classroom environments, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for students to thrive as learners vary. As a TEFL coach, my passion lies in helping students reach their full potential in English language proficiency and excel in the IELTS exam. Through personalized instruction, I identify areas of improvement and tailor my teaching methods to address specific weaknesses in listening, reading, writing, and speaking. My approach to coaching is student-centered, focusing on individual needs and goals. I create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students can build their confidence and overcome any challenges they may face. In addition to imparting knowledge, I am committed to instilling a growth mindset in my students. I inspire them to embrace continuous learning, practice self-reflection, and take ownership of their progress. I strive to cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, empowering students to tackle any Challenge in English Language task with confidence and creativity. I assess them based on their performance with empathy using skillful feedback.
