I'm from Valencia, a coastal Mediterranean city in Spain. Besides teaching, my relationship with this language has covered numerous fields: participation in the first two International Congresses of Spanish for Foreigners -ELE- (University of Virginia), working as a professional Orthotypographycal & Style Spanish Proofreader (European University, Madrid, Cálamo & Cran), among others. But, I'm not always thingking about literature. I also love Fine Arts, cinema and sports like scuba diving or Thai Boxing. I also try to spend as much time as I can in the woods.

As a teacher, I do my best to create enjoyable and interesting lessons even though I'm also a rigorous teacher who doesn't want to waste my students' time. But in any case, I'm aware of the utility of having funny moments, especially regarding mnemonics.
Let's talk about your goals and decide together what kind of lessot fits you better (conversational skills, old school lessons, preparing a memorable trip, passing a DELE exam, you name it!). We can use Spanish from day 1, but also English, French, Italian, or Japanese. Whether you have a favorite book/method or specific exam in mind or not, we will develop a plan of attack together.
Finally, I would love to add that I'm still learning new languages and I don't forget the new learner's feelings and the kind of strategies we need to put into practice when we set linguistic goals. My last experience was indeed very recent (2022-23): spending 6 months in Japan studying a very new language to me (ISI Language College).
