Hi, I'm Azraa. I am an enthusiastic online TEFL teacher who is currently taking a break from college studies but I do plan to continue my education in the near future. I am passion about pop culture, politics, and current events, I am always looking for ways to incorporate relevant and engaging topics into my lessons, in an effort to making the language learning experience more dynamic and interesting. In my free time, I enjoy sketching and painting while enjoying some good music. I believe that language is not just a set of grammar rules, but a medium of expression and should be taught as such. I am excited to start this new journey as an online TEFL teacher and I am eager to help students achieve their language goals through interactive and personalized instruction at their pace. I am a Level 5 TEFL Certified Teacher. As an online TEFL teacher, it is important to be familiar with teaching styles that are well-suited for the virtual classroom. One effective approach I practice is the flipped classroom model, in which students watch video lessons or read materials before class and then use class time for discussion and activities. This allows for more personalized and interactive instruction, as well as the opportunity for students to ask questions and receive immediate feedback. Another popular approach I choose to implement is the use of synchronous and asynchronous activities, which allow for real-time interactions as well as self-paced learning. Just like in the traditional classroom, I strive to be aware of my students' background, level of language proficiency, and interests and adapt my teaching style accordingly.
