Hello, I'm Arthur. I live in São Paulo, Brazil, have been teaching english for five years and recenyly started teaching Portuguese to English speaking people. My experience is mostly in Project Based learning, and we will surely find an effective and fun way for you to achieve your goals. I enjoy learning about a myriad of topics, and will use that so we can have a mutual understanding of exactly what your goals are, how to better get there and in the case you're interested in something I still don't know much, I'll be happy to add one more topic to my collection. I offer a very easy-going and light experience, but will stay on you, for learning a language is a skill, and when learning skills consistency and discipline are the only way, being the reason project-based learning is the best way to go, making homework time exciting. I've taught private classes for kids and adults for two years, coordinated a Project Based after school in which I also taught English for the past five years. I'm trained in project based learning by Instituto Gaia, Comunidades de Aprendizagem. My focus on my lessons is to guide the path of the student in a direction where they can improve faster while enjoying the process, internalizing the language through projects and immersion. Some homework will be necessary, and if the classes aren't taken at least 3 times a week, more homework will be required, which will require more discipline from the student. This is necessary because learning a language is a skill, and when learning skills we must have consistency, to force our brains into building the required networks.
