Hiya! My name is Antonio Carlos, but everyone has always known me as Tony. I would say that the first thing I like people to know about me is that I am an animal lover. I have rescue dogs and cats and I love them. Also, I am a cinephile and love having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with mates after watching a film or a TV show. Besides that, I am really into crossfit and energetic activities and adore meeting my friends for a pizza. One of my strongest characteristics is that I am open-minded to everything that comes my way and, because of that, I an avid traveler. I have done couchsurfing for years and have visited over 20 countries (and counting) up until now. I cannot live without coffee and reading the news in the morning. Only after that, will my day start. All in all, I would go so far as to say that anything can become interesting and enjoyable if you are with the right people at the right time. So, I've been teaching English for over 20 years. I became a self-taught at 14, and at 16, I began my studies in a more targeted way and also took my first steps as a TEACHER. At 19, I went to live in England, and upon returning, I started working FULL What can you, as a student, expect from my lesson? You can, most certainly, expect a communicative approach from me, an environment appropriate to your learning style and needs. I will always take into consideration what you most desire to achieve and use all my experience to accommodate skills such as speaking, reading, writing and listening, as well as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, curiosities and others to your very individual reality. Your likes and dislikes will be taken into consideration, so, films, music, texts, games, role-plays, debates, case studies and many other different kinds of tasks will be carefully designed to make you feel engaged and, most importantly, learn in a fun and relevant way.
