My profession is a teacher, but also I have art education and in my free time I am keen on drawing, pen-and-ink art, pastel, stained-glass, polymer clay works. I adore creating art and I consider my teaching work as one more way to "create". During the lessons we always have relaxed and comfortable, friendly and trusting atmosphere. I help my students speak English with no fears and hesitation. I have worked with corporate and private students. My experience includes working for different Language schools, 5-year period of teaching the employees of a car-making factory, working as a private tutor for adults and children. I would best describe my teaching style as a combination of different teaching approaches. I agree with the essential idea of the Communicative approach that language is the tool for connecting people. All my teaching delivers this thought and makes my learners understand that English is nothing to be afraid, but the key for better and wider communication. Also, in my humble opinion, speaking is a creative or, I would even say, an artistic process and people can create better when they feel secure and comfortable. Thus my primary task in teaching is to become a “patron” for my students and to help them feel valued, relaxed and self-confident.
