Alexander Fox

Hello! I am Alex, a teacher from the city of York in the UK. I am forty-two years old and enjoy reading, writing short stories, cooking and cycling. I began my teaching career four years ago at the Centre for English Studies in Leeds, UK. As well as tutoring online, I now teach for Wall Street English in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I gained a BA in English Literature from the University of Bristol and also studied English at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I teach students from all around world, with lots of different backgrounds and abilities. Therefore, I understand it is important to tailor my lessons to each new student's individual needs. In our first meeting we will discuss what YOU really want from learning English. I will then build you a fun and engaging programme of learning unique to YOU, enabling you to improve your English skills in a way that maximises your progress. Based on my hundreds of teaching hours I have created my teaching materials in alignment with Global English Language Teaching (ELT) Standards, and the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). I want each and every student to have the most supportive and effective learning experience possible, so I put every effort in to making your journey towards mastering English enjoyable and motivating.
