Briefly about me : My name is Lana. I’m Russian by ethnicity, journalist by training, and minimalist by choice. Vegan( not that it’s relevant). Avid reader ( most of what I read is grammar reference books and dictionaries, though). Dabbling in graphic design and flirting with self-development concepts (still pretty far from quitting my day job) I am Lana, once an awkward ESL student with an awful language barrier and a dream to speak English fluently. “Few” years in on my journey from “awkward” to “decent” (sorry for breaking some bad news to you - there are no shortcuts on this route…..) and from “student” to “tutor”, I’ve come to realize that sharing and contributing to others’ progress is more beneficial then solely focusing on your own. Hence, if any of the above resonates with you, I would be glad to guide you along in your journey. My teaching style is constantly evolving. Right now it encompasses 3 “I”-s - interactive, intuitive, imperative-free. Hence one can expect a variety of tasks to perform in class together with their frequent changeover all done in a liberal atmosphere of gentle persuasion.
