Persian: Dialects, Culture & Motivation for Learning
There are many languages in the world with which people speak and carry out their daily activities, one of which is Persian. It is spoken in West Asia by some countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, all three countries.
Learning a language is important for every human being so that they can communicate with their fellows in society and solve the problems in society. There are many languages in the world with which people speak and carry out their daily activities, one of which is Persian. It is spoken in West Asia by some countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, all three countries.
Persian accents
Persian has different accents. For example, Iranians speak Persian, Afghans speak Dari, and Tajiks speak Tajik Persian. In addition, people from other countries of the world are also trying to learn the Persian language, and their main motivation to learn this language is to get familiar with the culture and language of these Persian-speaking countries. Therefore, one of the dialects of the Persian language, which is Dari, is the language of the Afghan people, who also speak different dialects of Dari in their country, such as Herati, Hazargi, Kabuli, etc., are among the famous dialects of Afghans, and the people of each dialect have a different culture. Moreover, Dari is an adjective of the Persian language, and it was said to be a noble and literary language or a book that was popular throughout Iran and Khorasan. Despite the insistence of some people on the separation of the Dari dialect from the Persian language, no sign indicates the existence of two languages or two different types of languages called Farsi and Dari in the history of the Persian language and linguistics. In order to understand and learn their culture and dialects, it is necessary to learn the Persian language well so that we can get to know them.
Motivation to learn Persian
Here I want to remind you of the motivations for learning the Persian language. The results of the research have shown that there is a significant positive relationship between intrinsic motivation and its components in the Persian language. There is a very weak positive relationship between external motivation and its components with students’ academic progress in the Persian language course. Internal motivation has the biggest contribution to learning the Persian language. In many articles, educational and educational strategies have been suggested to teachers in order to increase this drop in students and lead them to internalize motivations, which needs more research.
