- The student failed to show up for the trial lesson and didn't reply to my messages :(
Has this happened to anyone else? I have actually experienced this a few times. The students booked their trial lesson and stayed online the whole time, but unfortunately didn't show up for the lesson or bother to respond to my messages. Furthermore, some of them rated me with 5 stars, but I never received any follow-up from them. Quite strange, isn't it?

In my experience as an ESL teacher, I've discovered that contextual learning is key to improving my students' vocabulary. When I introduce new words, I always make sure to present them in a way that is meaningful and relatable. This could involve reading exercises, listening tasks, or practical examples. By doing this, my students can observe how the words are used and establish connections between the word and its definition.
