- How do you motivate a student who has fear for grammar rules?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
I know grammar can seem scary, so I like to concentrate on how we actually use it in real life. I demonstrate how grammar plays a role in our daily chats, messages, social media updates, etc. I also urge them to talk about their own language experiences, showing them that grammar is a key to clear communication, not just a bunch of strict rules.

I'm reading "Live Your Best Life" by Les Brown, a self-help book that empowers readers to take control of their lives, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals. The book is based on the author's life experiences and insights gained from working with people from all walks of life. It's great for anyone seeking self-improvement, personal growth, or motivation.

By the way, the answers you'll get won't be from students, but from other teachers like me. So, Let me share my experience with you. I've been fortunate to teach ESL to students with various backgrounds and learning styles. What clicks for one may not click for another. In the end, the best way varies based on each learner's preferences, style, and goals. Being flexible and versatile is key, using different approaches to meet your students' diverse needs.
- Do you find it helpful to study or practice English with peers?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
Throughout my experience as an ESL teacher, I've come to realize that there are pros and cons to both learning with teachers and practicing with peers. The most effective approach, in the end, depends on the specific needs, learning style, and preferences of individual students. It's vital to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your students in order to create a balanced learning environment that combines the advantages of both learning with teachers and practicing with peers.
- If you could change one thing about your English learning experience, what would it be?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
If I were a student, I'd find it really helpful if most teachers focused on real-life situations and cultural references rather than just theory. Sure, grammar and vocabulary matter, but I think teaching a language should mirror its everyday use. It would be so beneficial for students to explore the cultural aspects of English-speaking countries and understand how language is used in various scenarios. This knowledge would definitely enhance their language skills. That's just how I see it.
- What do you feel helps you the most when learning something new?

Thinking about what I've learned and how I can use it in my daily life helps me really understand the information and link it to other things I know.

Which would you prefer: having the ability to see the future without any control over it, or not knowing the future but having the power to shape it through your actions? I'm curious to know your choice and the reason behind it. Looking forward to your answer:)
- What is THE HARDEST part of learning English/any new language??
Feel free to share. I am more than glad to help!😁✌️

I feel that fluency is typically the most difficult aspect for students to master. They may understand the grammar and vocabulary, but struggle to put them together in a natural way.
- Teachers that have students here, We would love to hear your recomendations to attract more students

If your teaching profile is appealing and aligns with what potential students are searching for, they will be the ones contacting you. It might take time, but remain persistent and continuously work on enhancing yourself. Rather than comparing yourself to others, focus on being the best version of yourself every day. Good luck! 😊
