My teaching philosophy revolves around the idea of using both traditional and modern teaching materials to create an engaging and successful learning atmosphere for ESL students. I take pride in developing my own worksheets and handouts, which are tailored to address the unique needs and interests of my students.

HAMPER is all about obstructing or impeding progress or movement, while HINDER is more about creating difficulties or delays for someone or something. E.g. A language barrier can HAMPER communication between different cultures. E.g. An outdated computer system can HINDER a company's productivity.

As an English teacher, my primary goal is to assist my students in developing effective communication skills in both speaking and writing. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Additionally, I strive to make English language learning relevant and meaningful to their lives, enabling them to use it effectively in their personal and professional lives. Generally, my students are focused on achieving greater confidence and fluency in English, with a strong interest in improving their ability to express themselves clearly and accurately.
- Tell us some Faux amis ( false friends ) between English and another language you speak.
Faux amis: Two words from two different languages that look and sound like eachother but have very different meanings. Ex: Run in English means fast walking. ران(Run) in Persian means thigh.

The word GIFT has distinct meanings in English and German. In English, it represents a 🎁, whereas in German, it stands for poison. 🤮
- How often do you practice your listening skills in English?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
I always tell my ESL students that to improve, they need to work on their listening skills every day, even if it's just for a short 10-15 minutes. They can listen to audio clips, do listening exercises, or summarize what they hear in their own words.

To the best of my knowledge, students can only ask questions in the ASK community section. As a fellow teacher, I'm genuinely interested in knowing what drives you to teach English and what factors would encourage you to learn a language if you were in the shoes of a student. Looking forward to your response:)

I love engaging in games that promote creative thinking and storytelling. For instance, I find storytelling activities where students take turns sharing a story, either on their own or in groups, to be particularly enjoyable. It's a great way for them to enhance their speaking and listening abilities.
