- As a student, what teaching methods do you find as the best to use for you to understand English?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
I’m not a student studying English anymore, but I remember that when I used to attend English classes, communicative approach was the best for me, but mixed with other approaches. All my teachers used different methods and never focused on just one thing (e.g. improving only speaking skills). I believe, it also depends on student’s needs. I, for instance, always wanted and needed to improve everything in equal measure. I am also convinced that direct approach would never work for me on lower levels of knowledge. Last thing is not exactly about method of teaching, but more about a teacher’s character, the way they communicated with me played a huge role. I was incredibly lucky to have non-judgemental, open-minded and extremely supportive teachers.
- At school you learnt all about English grammar
Now, is it so easy to apply those rules in your everyday conversation? Hence you need to practice speaking English at least once a day. Come to my class and we'll discuss about any topic that is close to your heart and you'll be learning to speak as a Native speaker at the same time.
- The word LOVE in the New Testament has 4 different meanings, do you know what they are?
Here are the original Greek words:1) Eros (ἔρως), 2) Phillia (φιλία), 3) Agape (ἀγάπη), and 4) Storge (στοργ). But we only use one word for each of these in the English language. What do the original words actually mean, and how are they different from each other? These are some of the things we can discuss when you take an English lesson with me.

I've recently started learning Portuguese. The main reason for this is that I have friends who speak the language, and I want to be able to communicate with them more effortlessly. My ultimate objective is to engage in conversations and grasp their cultural references. In terms of teaching, my goal is to continuously update my pedagogical knowledge and stay informed about the best practices in language teaching.
- If I want to cheer up another person when he/she started going to the gym, what should I say?
good job or well done are more about results of work, right? but I want to say something like "very good, you're good!". are there any conversational alternatives?

- How do you deal with learners who are not familiar with learning online and using the platform?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
To be honest, this platform is super user-friendly and it's really easy to keep up with all the information. The amazing thing is that students can select their preferred language and quickly find all the information they need.
- What is your favorite ways to learn/teach a language or is there a teaching method you prefer?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
Listening to lots of content, preferably at the comprehensible input level - meaning the listener understands 90%-95% of the material. This is how we learn our mother tongue when we're children - we first listen, then we listen and then listen even more. Only then do we slowly start to talk. As adults, we can obviously facilitate the process by applying other teaching/learning methods, but listening remains the baseline learning/teaching tool nevertheless.
