Hi! My name is Sofia and I am from Kazakhstan, but now I mostly live in Rome and study at Sapienza University for my Master’s Degree. I have always loved learning languages and sharing my knowledge with others, so I will be really happy to share it with you! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and have been teaching English for 8 years now. I mostly teach people aged 14 years old and older. My IELTS band is 8.0, I have experience teaching English for many different purposes, including preparation for IELTS. I use different approaches and materials, depending on student’s needs. My main goal has always been to motivate my students and help them overcome any obstacles they may face. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student become more confident and fluent in English. I try to make my lessons entertaining, keeping in mind my students’ interests and favourite topics. Besides English I also speak French and I am currently learning Italian. I have many different interests, so we always have something to talk about with my students.
