I think that finding the right teacher is the first step. A good language teacher will never judge your abilities or mistakes. But of course, you need to be able to take that step outside your comfort zone to have that first lesson with a teacher. If you feel that you are not ready for that, you could first try joining online forums or clubs for non-native English speakers who want to practice together. This will build your confidence until, one day, you are ready to speak/learn with a native speaker
