We can pair between the skills. For example, we can pair between speaking and listening when we use activities like role-playing, debates or group discussions where learners develop their listening comprehension and speaking fluency. Here are some activities that we can use: - Provide written transcripts with listening exercises to enhance their reading skill and listening comprehension. - Use dectation exercises and summerization of audiovisual materials can enhance both listening and writing skills. - Provide some stories to be read and ask learners to summerize the story to improve reading and writing skills. - Provide stories or articles for learners to read and discuss what they have learnt to enhance their reading and speaking skills. These are just some of the activities that I use to integrate the for skills in my English teaching process. There are so many activities out there. just remember to vary between them, and remember that veriety is the spice of life.

- How would you prepare a student for standardized English tests like SAT, ACT, or IELTS?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
tests like IELTS that require a good level in all 4 skills need a good assessment of your student in the beginning and recognising their current level and and their strengths and weaknesses. then, depending on their evaluation, i start to write them a lesson plan and short-term and long-tern goals. we talk about the test's structure and then we go at the skills with different strategies that suits the student. it's important to get feedback in the process, like a mock test or such.
