In order to add something to the other answers (that are already very useful) I would suggest to imitate whatever you arer listening to (a dialogue in a film, a part of a podcast, etc.) but in a funny way. The more exaggerated or theatrical the better, like a real actor or actress. And then, practice with real people. Un saludo!

- preguntas sobre fonética
How to transcribe these (fonéticamente y fonológicamente)? 1- Siempre viene a clase la acompañada de sus amigos. 2-A veces yo no comprendo al profesor. 3-Soy solamente un hombre de carne y hueso. 4-Nosotros quedamos en ir mañana. 5-Ellos se parecen a su padre. 6-Ella no se fía de nadie. 7-Tú siempre te quejas de todo. 8-Este vino huele a vinagre. 9-Yo me arrepiento de haber venido. 10-El éxito consiste en trabajar. 11-Sueño con ser presidente. but in a simple way as a beginner and in "la sirrema" there is the form "sustantivo + complemento determinado" What is "el complemento determinado" and how to know it also how to know a "perífrasis verbal" that I have never seen before to transcribe it correctly.

As an example, in the sentence "Me gustaría haber ido al cine", the verb is composed by the auxiliary verb "haber" in it's infinitive conjugation combined with the conjugation of the verb "ido" which is a conjugation of the verb "ir" in past participle. Both verbs combined form the "Perífrasis verbal" and act as the core of the sentence, or as a "composed verb".

It really all depends on how do you want to use the word "Ya", for example: 1.- "Ya" as an adverb of time: It is used to indicate that an action has already happened or will happen soon. For example: a) "Ya comí" (I already ate) b) "Llegaré ya" (I will arrive soon) 2.- "Ya" as an adverb of confirmation or emphasis: It is used to affirm or emphasize something that has been mentioned before. For example: a) "Sí, ya entiendo" (Yes, I understand now) b) "Ya lo sé" (I already know) 3.-"Ya" as a conjunction: It is used to express contrast or concession. It can be translated as "but" or "although" in English. For example: a)"Quiero ir al cine, pero ya es muy tarde" (I want to go to the movies, but it's already late) b)"Ya llueve, aunque llevamos paraguas" (It's raining already, although we have umbrellas) 4.- "Ya" as an interjection: It is used to express impatience or annoyance. For example: a)"¡Ya basta!" (Enough already!) b)"¡Ya déjame en paz!" (Leave me alone already!)
- Ser vs estar. What is the difference?
When to use ser and when to use estar?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
Hello, Great Question! Estar is used when describing something temporary, such as "I am sad". That feeling wont last forever, so use Estar, "Yo ESTOY triste". Estar is also used to describe someone's location for example "ESTABAS en la tienda" Ser is used to describe someones physical identity or personality, for example "Yo SOY baja". Ser is used for origin or nationality "Yo SOY de Mexico" Ser is also used for time and events "Tu cumpleanos es en Octubre" I hope this helps!
- Why the question and exclamation marks in Spanish are upside down?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
Hello, great question! The Exclamation and Question marks in Spanish are used at the beginning and end of sentences because they let the readers know beforehand whether the sentence is actually a question or being told as a statement. This then allows the reader to annunciate certain words so they sound like a more like a question rather than a statement while speaking. I hope this helps!

Depende mucho de los intereses de la persona y su metodo de aprendizaje, asi que, cada persona escoge a su tutor de diferente forma. Hay personas que le gusta mas practicar y hablar. En cambio, otras personas les gusta mas la teoria.
- Students and/or Tutors: what are some of your favorite podcasts in Spanish?
My all-time fave is Radio Ambulante but I don't always have time to listen to their episodes, which tend to be around 40 minutes long. On the shorter side, I like El Hilo, which is more news-based, and Así Como Suena, great for hearing voices and accents from all around América Latina.

My wife (Mexican - for her I know Spanish) likes to listen to one called "Relatos del Lado Oscuro" which deals with paranormal activity that happens from time to time all over Latin America but with a special focus on Mexico.
