Many of my students struggle to maintain a consistent flow of speech during conversations, which can affect their confidence and fluency. To improve this, I encourage them to engage in regular conversation practice with me or their peers, using topics that interest them, and provide feedback on their speaking skills.

My students' main goal is to improve their communication skills, both spoken and written. They want to be able to express themselves confidently and effectively in English, whether it's for work, travel, or everyday life.

You'll most likely keep receiving replies from other tutors, not students.
- Choose the correct word to complete the sentence: She (is/are) going to the store.
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
The correct answer is "is". The subject of the sentence is "She", which is a singular noun, so the verb "is" (not "are") is used.
- correct the grammatical error "Each of the students have submitted their assignments on time."
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
*** Each of the students has submitted their assignments on time. *** Each of the students" IS" a singular noun phrase, so the verb "HAS" (not "HAVE") is needed to agree with it. Alternatively, you could also use the plural verb "HAVE" and change the sentence to: *** Each of the students have submitted their assignments on time, individually. ***

My best moment as a teacher was when a former student returned to visit me after graduation. She had been one of my most challenging students in terms of behavior and attention span, but I had worked closely with her to develop strategies to help her stay focused. When she returned, she surprised me by saying, "Thank you for believing in me when no one else did. You helped me believe in myself too." That moment made all the extra effort worth it. It reminded me that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about building relationships and fostering self-confidence.

- Are there honestly any students on this platform?
I would love to find out from a tutor who believes they have the most bookings how many classes they teach in a day and in a week. I am trying to be patient but it gets hard by the day.

To tell you the truth, it's really hard to stand out from the crowd of English tutors on this platform, because some tutors are promoted more than others and visibility varies. I suggest utilizing social media for self-promotion. Additionally, there are students who only book trial lessons, often due to financial constraints, and create multiple accounts to do so. There was a situation where the same student scheduled the trial lesson with me three times using three different accounts. Despite feeling frustrated, I maintained my professionalism. It seems that these students either lack understanding or disregard the fact that, similar to their expectation of compensation for their time and expertise, we also expect the same. There are certainly numerous aspects that the platform's development team needs to work on improving.
