- If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
crwdns2631929:0crwdne2631929:0
Extremely sorry to say but it's next to impossible. No one can become an expert instantly. It takes time & lots of patience to gain expertise in anything. For instance, here we are on the platform for language learning & if one says; I could become language expert instantly then s/he is just deceiving herself/himself & nothing else.

I don’t worry about that as I know that it takes time to be noticed and known by students. I am a newcomer so I need to be patient and try my best to get known. At the same time I’m working on another platform and having online lessons. As an experienced teacher, that’s not a big deal to me.

Islem kouraichiEnglish Language TeacherAccording to me, the best lesson activities are based on the preference of the student. For instance, I remember a lesson where the students were given spoons and a plastic bottle and they were asked to create a product out of it and to introduce it to their peers. Which I think was a perfect class.

Islem kouraichiEnglish Language TeacherAs I see it, every skill of the target language can be learned by students who stick to practising. But the only obstacle is your self judgement whenever you make a mistake. The only advice I can give a student is embrace your mistakes. Making mistakes is a proof that you're trying. And one of the best ways to learn is putting yourself in challenging situations using the target language.
