Michael Shawen

My name is Michael, and I am a teacher of German and Danish with 20 years of experience as an interpreter, translator and language teacher. I grew up in Southern Denmark being bilingual in Danish and German. I am always engaged in the journey of acquiring proficiency in foreign languages. Presently, I am embarking on the adventure of learning Russian from the ground up. This experience enables me to empathize with the unique challenges my students encounter. My objective is to assist you in surmounting these obstacles, ensuring that the learning journey becomes not only smoother but also more delightful and enjoyable. During our sessions, we immerse ourselves in extensive conversations, discussing articles or books we've read and videos we've watched. Additionally, we actively focus on enhancing grammar skills, refining pronunciation, and broadening vocabulary.
