Hi everyone! I’m a native Danish speaker and have lived in Sweden for 8–9 years, becoming fluent in Swedish as well. Now, I’m living in Madeira, Portugal, and I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience. I don’t need a language certificate as I am fluent in both Danish and Swedish.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, which has given me a solid foundation in teaching. In addition to working with young children, I have experience teaching English to young learners in Chile. Throughout my career as an educator, I’ve been influenced by both Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches, and I bring the best aspects of each into my teaching style.
I adapt my teaching to suit the learner’s age and individual needs. For adults, I focus on practical, interest-based learning, keeping conversations active around topics of shared interest and emphasizing hands-on practice. Adults often learn best by doing, so I incorporate activities that build real-world skills. For children, I tailor my approach to their unique learning style—some learn best through play, while others benefit from creative activities and visual aids.
