Passionate English Teacher committed to embarking the English learning journey with her students. I grew up in Botswana, in a city called Gaborone. I am a 30 year female who is single with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. My interest in global business led me to pursue a degree in Business Administration at a well-regarded university, where he learned the foundations of management, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
During my free time l enjoy listening to music and podcasts about entrepreneurship, education, and world affairs. I am also an avid reader, particularly when it comes to books on personal development, business strategy, and language learning. I also find cooking to be a creative outlet, and l often experiment with new recipes inspired by the countries l have visited.
I taught English Online on several platforms such as Preply, and Cambly. Teaching English online has become more than just a job; it’s a fulfilling career path that offers room for growth, specialization, and the ability to make a positive impact on students’ lives. Hence l have worked with students of varying ages, backgrounds, and levels of proficiency. This ranged from beginners trying to form basic sentences to advanced learners aiming for fluency in business English, or students needing help acing their exams. Each student had unique learning goals, so l adapted my teaching methods accordingly. I also taught English as a second language in China for 2 years. I hold a 120-Hour TEFL Certificate and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration which has equipped me with the necessary skills to help students succeed in their English Learning journey.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's proficiency level, learning style, and specific goals (e.g., improving conversation skills, preparing for an exam, or learning business English). Lessons will include interactive activities such as role-plays, discussions, problem-solving exercises, and real-world scenarios to help students apply language concepts in practical situations. For example, students may practice ordering food in a restaurant, participating in a business meeting, or debating an issue. Students will receive immediate, constructive feedback during the lesson. My focus will be on building a broad vocabulary which is essential for fluency. l will introduce new words and phrases that are relevant to the student’s interests or professional needs. l will also focus on improving the student’s ability to express themselves clearly and confidently. This might involve practicing speaking fluency, listening comprehension, and building vocabulary in context.
