Hello there! My name is Thato Violet, a native English speaker from a beautiful country in Africa called Lesotho. Do you want to speak like a native or take your English to greater heights? worry no more, I have a perfect plan to help you get better with less time.
I describe myself as a punctual, honest, passionate and very willing to help my students grasp ad understand our lessons.
In my leisure time I do charity work of visiting orphanages and donating food parcels and clothing. I like listening to music, chatting to friends and playing netball. I am very compassionate, down to earth, and very kind.
One day I would love to travel to China because I would love to have their Lo Mein noodles.
One of my proudest moments was when I had the opportunity to work for Limkokwing University Ambassadorship 4-years program, where I worked closely with the staff and students, and equipped students with the skills to put them on a path to the field (workplace)thereof receiving
a leadership award
I have a TEFL certificate with almost 4 years of teaching English as a foreign language and therefore I would like to share my knowledge and expertise obtained. I specialize in conversational English, English for business, English for beginners, intermediate level and advanced English, English for interviews and general English. No blah blah blah but lots of yeah yeah yeah.
My lessons are student centered. I design lesson plans that align with what my students need, a perfect example would be; if my student wants to enhance their English learning for business purposes, that is learning to handle presentations and chair meetings, I then design lessons that will help my student to learn all of that with clear examples and illustrations. At the end of my lessons, I motivate my student all the time as to help them to believe in themselves.
My goal is to provide a relaxed, friendly and user-friendly classroom where students do not fear making mistakes. I encourage mistakes in my classroom because then it gives me an insightful picture of where the proficiency level is at.
