Josiah Ejighionwu

My name is Josiah, and I hail from the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria. In my late 30s, I've found joy in various aspects of life, particularly in reading, making new friends, and encouraging those around me. I'm known for my friendly demeanor and warm smile, which I believe has the power to put strangers at ease and make them feel comfortable. I have a strong conviction that there is immense potential within each person, waiting to be unlocked and nurtured. This belief drives me to connect with others and help them realize their own unique strengths and capabilities. I have been teaching English pronunciation for over 15 years, working commendably with individuals of all ages, from children and teenagers to adults and seniors. Currently, I teach online with an English school based in Poland. In addition to my teaching role, I volunteer as a translator. I hold a 120-hour TESOL certificate, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively teach English to speakers of other languages. I offer a variety of engaging and tailored lessons, including: Reading: Helping young learners and struggling adults improve their reading skills. Conversation: Enhancing fluency and confidence in everyday English. Business English: Equipping professionals with the language skills needed for the workplace. My lessons are designed to be fun and student-focused. I provide plenty of positive reinforcement and gently correct mistakes to create a supportive learning environment.
