Zandra Edwards-Ayton

I am zealous Zandra from the amazing country of Jamaica. I am 33 years of age and I am currently a classroom teacher and Online tutor. I love reading articles. I also enjoy studying and shopping. I have been a teacher for 10 years and 9 months. I have taught in Jamaica, an English speaking country for 10 years. During this time I have taught from kindergarten to grade 6. I have also gained experience in curriculum planning and development. Rec I plan my lessons as the replica of a classroom powerpoint. My lessons are print rich and tailored to suit the interest and academic needs of the students. I also design interactive lessons to get students engaged and on task. My lessons are unique because I immerse humor and use a multiplicity of strategies to ensure that I achieve my outcomes. I adopt a technique where I engage my student through videos, games, prior knowledge etc. I also get my student to explore the topic while I explain the focus idea. As a tutor I ensure that I assess what my student has learnt and evaluate the lesson while tracking progress over a period of time.
