Hi! My name is Tatiana and I live in sunny Kyrgyzstan. I like British comedy, reading (I'm a potterhead through and through), and walking round the city. Also, I love learning languages, right now I'm learning French and Norwegian, and I like exploring how technology helps us to learn.
I have a degree in teaching English and German as a second language. For over 10 years I've been an English and German teacher at an engineering university. It gave me an opportunity to combine my two interests: languages and IT. Over the years I've taught different courses: Translation practice, Business English, English for specific purposes, Language theory and of course General English.
In my opinion, the most important thing in learning a language structure, that's why I prefer to use a good international textbook and add some materials that are interesting for the student. I like my lessons to be dynamic and engaging, but most importantly, I try to create a friendly atmosphere. During the lesson, we practice all four aspects of the language: Reading, Listening, Grammar and Speaking, although Speaking is the most important part.
