I am from Chile, I speak Spanish and English. I love teaching. I am a mother, a wife, and a Christian. My hobbies are spending time with my kids and husband, cooking, cleaning, reading, doing exercise, playing the viola or guitar, and singing!
I have taught as a tutor online for geometry and as a line-cook trainer in my previous job in the restaurant industry. I have also taught English as a second language in Chile to children as a part-time tutoring job.
My lessons are unique and based on real-life applications. I use research-based strategies and my expertise and knowledge of education and child development to engage, scaffold, and encourage students to achieve their best potential. I am a very patient and understanding teacher. My passion is to make learning a positive experience for everyone! I also have high expectations and believe that all students can learn when they put their best efforts forward.
