Nicky

Hi! My name is Nicky, and I am from a small town in Limpopo, South Africa. Afrikaans is my home language, and English is my second language. My hobbies include fishing, cooking, reading, and hiking. I am currently a student majoring in psychology and communication science and I absolutely love it! I am a kind, patient and enthusiastic person and my classroom will be a safe space for every student to confidently learn English and achieve their goals. I have a 180-hour TEFL certificate. I have been tutoring three siblings, ages 8, 12, and 15 when I started, from January 2021 until now. Subjects I help them with are English, Afrikaans, Biology, Science, History, and Math. I also help them prepare for a My lessons are enthusiastic and fun. Students can ask questions whenever they want to, as well as ask me to focus more on a certain topic to help them understand it better. There is no need to be scared or shy in my class; I am here with a lot of support and kindness for each student.
