I am from sunny South Africa! I am a passionate English online teacher. Something else I am passionate about is photography, film production, cycling, and reading a lot. There are numerous aspects of my personality, qualifications, and teaching methods that I would like to highlight. As a native English speaker, I possess a strong command of the English language and a deep understanding of its intricacies, enabling me to effectively teach students of all proficiency levels. Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. With a TEFL certificate and three years of experience teaching English online, I have gained a wealth of knowledge, skills, and insights that have shaped me both personally and professionally. Obtaining my TEFL certificate was a pivotal moment in my career. It provided me with a solid foundation in teaching methodology, language acquisition theory, and classroom management strategies. The course not only honed my linguistic skills but also broadened my cultural awareness. I learned the importance of adapting my teaching style to meet the diverse needs and learning preferences of my students.Teaching English online for three years has been an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience. Throughout this time, I have had the privilege of connecting with students from all around the world, helping them improve their English language skills, and witnessing their growth and success. My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, ensuring that students are actively participating throughout the session. I use various teaching aids, such as props for younger students, videos, and interactive activities such as role plays, to keep the students involved and interested. I understand that each student has unique learning needs and preferences. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to cater to their individual requirements. I take the time to understand my students strengths, weaknesses, goals and design my teaching strategies accordingly. My emphasis is on improving students' communication skills in English. I provide ample opportunities for speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice. I also encourage students to express themselves freely and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their language skills.
