I am S M Asim Qadri. You may call me by my Chinese name 啊 信 (Āxìn). I am in my mid 50's. from Karachi, the largest city and business hub in Pakistan.
I like to write articles, and poetry, do observational astronomy, and enjoy tourism. Above all, I love mentoring my students. I have traveled all across Pakistan, also to China, Saudi Arabia, India, and Turkey; multiple times. I am also interviewed in the media as an experienced Mandarin teacher, quite a few times.
With an MBA in Marketing, I have a passion for languages, and have completed my Mandarin course in 2010; a Diploma Certification from CLTC, in Karachi. Later completed several other certificate courses and certifications in the Chinese language from Confu
You know, most learners globally think that Mandarin Chinese is very difficult... but just after the first two classes, my students always have a pleasant surprise. They get convinced that the fundamentals of the Chinese language are very easy to understand, and the grammar is quite natural and very interesting.
In my class, the learner is initially taught using Int’l拼⾳ (Pīnyīn) System, then汉字 (Hànzi) the Chinese characters. My approach is an optimal mix of interactive sessions; with audiovisual aids & simulation-based learning.
Finally, for my students, even the challenging topic of Chinese "Tones", becomes engaging and musical as I teach in light of comparative linguistics. All lesson sessions include an integrated practice session, supported by relevant course material. It is also chained with incorporated engaging assignments.
In the end, this balanced set of activities in my class makes the Chinese language acquisition process fun and worthy.
