Ayda Fahrii

I am 37 years of age and have been teaching English for over 18 years. I have been into languages since I was an adolescent. Currently., I am improving my Spanish and Japanese language. In my spare time, I would like to read English novels, watch movies, go swimming or chat over coffee with friends. I also spend time with my family and take pleasure listening and chatting with my lil son and old nana :). I have taught English in various private schools and English academies with various age groups, ranging from young learners to adults with different English levels and backgrounds (elementary to advanced students) across my country and also have been a teacher trainer and educator for the past three years. I have also pleasurably worked with east Asian students especially Japanese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong students for over a year. Finally, I have been prompted recently to work as a supervisor in one of the English schools in my country. I academically studied English, therefore, I attempt to employ a mixture of methods, strategies and techniques that suit the best to the learners' needs during my course period. I will implant both discovery and fun learning in my classes to motivate students to continue their learning journey joyfully. Additionally, I run a need analysis before embarking on language journey to ensure the students' needs and goals are achieved carefully during the course period. Discussions, intercultural exchange, fun learning and variety oare necessary elements in my classes. I am also a teacher researcher constantly seeking improvement in the field of teaching.
