Samantha Maddera

I'm Samantha from the beautiful, South Africa. I am passionate about teaching and learning too. I am a 36-year-old female and I love to travel. Exploring the outdoors and new places are my favourite, as I get to meet new people and learn about their lifestyles and culture. I also enjoy teaching, spending time with my family and friends and watching movies. I am very calm, kind and patient teacher. I hold a TEFL certification. I am currently teaching English on Preply Inc. I have been teaching Bible Studies at my local church since the past 2 years. In my teaching experience I have had the opportunity to meet people from around the world and have found that people are always looking to learn something new. However, they fear of making mistakes but with me as your teacher there is NO need to fear. My classes are student centred and I aim to help my students reach their learning goals. I use a fun, interactive and engaging approach by using props, charts and flash card that are age appropriate, to aid with the learning process. I am passionate about teaching and therefore I ensure my students are comfortable in class and learn well. I correct mistakes in a gentle manner to ensure my students learn correctly and grow. I make it my mission to help my students learn and master the English language so that they can communicate confidently and with fluency.
