I would describe myself as a very discreet, respectful, caring, patient and responsible person. I am very loyal and can be very objective when it comes to giving an opinion on a specific situation that would normally require caution. I love starting the day early to organize my activities and always check my to-do list. I love organization, cleanliness and a fresh environment that provides tranquility and serenity at home and at work. I am passionate about my work. Because I love what I do, I have a constant source of motivation that drives me to do my best. At my last job, this passion led me to challenge myself on a daily basis and learn new skills that helped me do my job better. I enjoy challenges and constantly set goals for myself so I have something to strive for. I also have knowledge of various methods of teaching English to non-native speakers. I am always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve my goals.
I have taught for over 20 years. I have taught in a personalized environment with one student, as well as groups. I have taught in schools and adults at their workplace. I have successfully prepared students for PET, FCE and CAE Cambridge University Test
My expectations with my students is to be able to relate freely where the communication is lively, active, positive and a welcoming attitude in the student´s benefit. I set challenging goals with expectations that are clear both orally and in writing. I also make emphasis on encouraging students to write and speak well and discuss their progress. I am able to connect with the student and execute a personalized and customized teaching while giving them real life examples of what is taught. Often times taking part in role plays, dialogues, and similar activities where the student can practice in communicating in the target language making it as real as possible. I sympathize with a student´s difficulty and work together is order to surpass the obstacles through explanation and illustration providing examples to go with the illustrations.
